Big Jewcy Questions: A Conversation About TVO’s Purpose, Identity and Affiliation

At the end of last month's fascinating conversation with Rabbi Weiss we promised that there would be another opportunity soon for all TVO members to talk more about some of the issues that were raised. This next session of Big Jewcy Questions will give you the opportunity to share your thoughts on the following three questions:

1. What is core to the TVO identity and what do we want to be as a congregation?

2. How can TVO meaningfully accommodate — if not embrace and celebrate - the diversity of viewpoints within our congregation?

3. How can TVO be inclusive and welcoming to interfaith families and at the same time maintain our sense of Jewish continuity, character, and content?

In order to structure a meaningful interchange, we’d love to hear your thoughts ahead of May 4 on what you think might be important to discuss in relation to these big questions. Please go to this document and jot down some of your questions or thoughts. It’s not required to do this in order to attend, but we’d love to know what you’re thinking about and it would help us facilitate the conversation.
