Please join us for the TIKKUN V’OR COMMUNITY SEDER
Tuesday, April 23, 6-8 p.m. at 2550 N Triphammer Rd
The cost for the dinner is $40 for Adults; $20 for Children.
RESERVATIONS will be taken until April 15.
Rabbi Shifrah will lead the seder with music provided by Sue Horowitz. Please note that the seder will be an in-person event only (no Zoom), but we have room for up to 75 people.
The menu this year has slight creative changes, but still has most of the traditional favorites:
Charoset
Matzoh ball soup
Pandora chicken / Cauliflower steak with chimichurri sauce
Noodle Kugel
Brussel Sprouts with maple glaze and thyme
Passover cookies
Each reservation will need to indicate if you want the chicken or vegetarian entree for each member of your party.
Anyone seeking a scholarship please contact Anne at anneithacabakery@gmail.com or Peter at silbermanp@gmail.com.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
As usual, this event wouldn’t take place without the work of many dedicated volunteers. We are looking for volunteers to do the following:
- Help set up the building for the seder and clean up afterwards
- Bring seder plates to the seder, either empty or full (parsley, horseradish, hardboiled egg, charoset, roasted beets)
- Make and bring charoset and/or hardboiled eggs to share
- Bring food from the kitchen to tables
- Read at the event
If you are interested in volunteering for any of the above please email Peter at silbermanp@gmail.com by April 12.
Thanks in advance for helping make the TvO Community seder a success!
Looking forward to a seder with you all,
Anne and Peter for the Avodah Committee
