Join Congregation Tikkun v'Or for our Erev Rosh HaShanah service.

No registration is required for participation by Zoom.

Temple members can sign up beginning July 9th. When registering, you'll have the option to add guests. "Guest" means anyone in your household and up to 4 additional people.

Other guests and non-members should register using the Non-Member Registration option. This option will be available beginning July 24th. Non-members registering can add up to 3 additional people as guests.

Our services depend on volunteers. When registering to attend our services, please also sign up for a support task if you're able.

High Holy Days donations are appreciated and can be made during the registration process.

Rosh HaShanah Day (Sat, September 12, 2026)

11:15am - 12:00pm Shofar and Storytime (Families with young children are welcome to sign up for the full morning service, or just Shofar and Storytime).

Community Picnic & Tashlich (Sat, September 12, 2026)

Join Congregation Tikkun v'Or for our Community Picnic & Tashlich

12:30pm - 1:30 pm. Bring-your-own Community picnic, at Salt Point Natural Area, Lansing NY.

1:15pm - 2:30pm. Tashlich at Salt Point, led by Jeff Bercuvitz.

Both will be indoors at TVO in the event of rain.

JLE Registration 2026-2027 (Sun, September 13, 2026)

JEWISH LEARNING EXPERIENCES (JLE) at TVO

REGISTRATION 2026-2027

If you are new to Tikkun v'Or and Jewish Learning Experiences, please contact info@tikkunvor.org before registering.

Click on REGISTER below to complete the registration process. A separate registration is required for each student.

We welcome all Jewish students, regardless of the children's and parent(s)’ religious backgrounds, ethnic identities, race, family configuration, gender identity and expression, or sexual orientation.

Family Jewish Learning Experiences is for children in kindergarten (gan) and first grade (kitah alef). This program meets once a month on Saturday mornings, for children and their caregivers.

Jewish Learning Experiences for students in second/third grade (kitah bet/gimel) meets weekly on Sundays from 9-11 am.

Jewish Learning Experiences for children in fourth/fifth (kitah dalet/hey) and sixth and seventh grade (kitah vav/zayin) meets weekly on Sundays from 9 am - 12 pm.

Vav/Zayin (6th and 7th grade) also meets on Wednesdays from 4:30-6 pm. Both Sundays and Wednesday attendance is expected for students in these grades.

MEMBERSHIP AND TUITION: If your child is in 6th and 7th grade / b’nai mitzvah, or this is their second year in JLE, you must become dues-paying members in good standing. All fees from previous year must be paid in full to register for a new year. Please see the membership HERE and then register for MEMBERSHIP HERE

If this is the first year and your child is in K-5, you have the option of becoming a dues-paying member of TvO right away, OR a "JLE Member" with dues-waived, but paying a slightly higher school rate, Please register as JLE MEMBERS HERE

Partial Tuition Assistance is available through a grant from the Ithaca Area United Jewish Community (IAUJC). Please complete a Tuition Assistance form to apply for assistance. Contact info@tikkunvor.org for more information.

1:15 Meditation led by Ira Kamp – in person only

2:15 Isaiah Challenge lecture

3:45 Avodah service led by Jeff Bercuvitz

5:30 Yizkor -- led by Lauren Korfine, Diana Levy and Judy Saul

6:15 Closing service (Neilah) and Havdalah led by Lauren Korfine

7:30 Break the Fast (vegetarian or dairy please)
