We have recently marked two years since the beginning of a painful and violent period for Israelis and Palestinians—one that continues to bring deep suffering and loss. Following up on our High Holiday conversations about the importance of open and caring dialogue, we are honored to welcome Peter Beinart to Tikkun v’Or as part of our continuing series of speakers and conversations on Israel and Palestine.
Beinart—CUNY Professor, New York Times columnist, editor-at-large for Jewish Currents, and fellow at the Foundation for Middle East Peace—will be in conversation with Judy Saul, longtime TvO member and founder of the Community Dispute Resolution Center.
Together they will discuss Beinart’s evolving views as a religious American Jew and journalist, drawing on his new book Being Jewish After the Destruction of Gaza.
The questions that are asked of Peter Beinart will be informed by us. Please submit your question for Peter Beinart by sending an email to <info@tikkunvor.org> with the subject line, Question for Beinart.
